One of my favorite parts of warmer weather is spending time outside—morning tea, lazy afternoons, and dinners under the string lights. But lately, our back patio just wasn’t doing it for us. It felt a little cramped and a bit tired. So this spring, we decided it was time for a refresh… and a little expansion!
We extended the patio area to give ourselves more room to lounge, dine, and just enjoy the outdoors as a family. Of course, with more space comes the need for more furniture—and that’s where I started to feel a little overwhelmed. Too many choices, too many styles… cue decision fatigue.
Thankfully, I called in backup: my talented friend Chris @chrisporterdesign, who also happens to be an amazing designer. I sent her a video of our space and she instantly had a vision. Within a few days, she had pulled together a gorgeous mix of pieces that not only look beautiful but actually make the space feel cohesive and calm. Think neutral tones, cozy textures, and pieces that feel elevated but still family-friendly.
To bring her vision to life, I created a Canva vision board (because of course I did)—and it makes me SO excited to see how it’s all going to come together. I’ve linked everything I could find below using shoppable hotspots through the [LTK widget app], so you can tap around the board and shop each item directly.
