✨ You may have seen that a few months ago, I revamped my daughter’s workspace not realizing that I used many @u_brands products that I found at Target!

Walmart Winter Outfit | Dec 2021

It can be hard to find nice winter clothes without spending a fortune, so I was super excited about this affordable outfit from Walmart! The coat might be my favorite item because it feels like such amazing quality, very warm, has removable fur on the hood and a soft cozy lining inside - for under $50!

I’m also finding that I really love the jeans I’ve tried from the Sofia Vergara line. These ones are a mid-rise with some stretch and distressing, and are SO comfortable! I paired it with a long-sleeve black v-neck bodysuit from Free Assembly. I finished off the outfit with a black and white beanie and cozy hiker boots!

Walmart is the perfect place to find your winter layers! I will like my entire outfit below:

Walmart Men's Free Assembly Line | Nov 2021

Check out Ryan rocking a full outfit from Walmart and looking SO cute 😍👏🏼

(#Ad) I’ve ordered quite a few pieces for myself from the Free Assembly line at Walmart, but this is my first time trying the men’s line for Ryan! I love all the options for layering up for the winter. From long sleeves, to jackets to vests.

I also appreciate that their Free Assembly line uses mostly organic cotton 🙌🏼 You get good quality pieces but still at affordable price points.

Walmart Winter Fashion | Oct 2021

If you’re on the hunt for a great puffer jacket, I can’t recommend this option from Walmart enough! It’s a great price point at $22.98 and comes in 9 colors! It fits true to size and is available in a small - 3X.

#ad Walmart is a great place to shop for affordable winter fashion to update your wardrobe without breaking the bank! I’m also in love with this ultra soft long sleeve that’s less then $10! It’s so cozy it could also dual as a pajama shirt.

I’m also a huge fan of the hiker boot trend, and couldn’t resist these super cute white ones with the pop of sherpa! They also come in several other colors and are less then $30!

"Fancy like apple pies and a game night" - Target edition

As a fun family activity to kick off the fall season, I thought we could be extra “fancy” and attempt to make apple pies, and cap off the evening with a game night! Inspired by our favorite country song “Fancy Like” by Walker Hayes. My baking skills are usually limited to heating up a frozen pizza in the oven, but I’m hoping to encourage my kids to be more savvy in the kitchen then I am.

I stopped into Target and rounded up all the ingredients from the Good & Gather grocery line. (I was excited to find that they had a Gluten Free 1:1 Flour Blend so that I would be able to eat the pies!) I also picked up some hot chocolate mixes that will be great for entertaining, and some other fun snacks for the kids to nibble on during our family day.

While I was at Target, I couldn’t resist the coordinating aprons for my kids, and the adorable little fall leaf cutouts for future baking projects. I also found a jumbo muffin tin that was perfect for the mini pies! I knew this would be a fun memory for our family, and thankfully everything was very affordable at Target.

We got to work on the apple pies using a mini apple pie recipe that is both vegan + gluten free! I will link it here: https://thebananadiaries.com/mini-apple-pies-vegan/. We diced up all the apples and began to stir in the spices with my littlest helpers.

Next, daddy helped roll out the homemade dough to create the mini pie crust, and then we added the apple filling. As you can see, the kids were mesmerized by this process!

Then we layered more dough on the top to complete the mini pies and we baked for 25 minutes! We anxiously waited in suspense to see if our homemade pies would turn out, and to my surprise they were actually the most darling mini pies (and actually tasted very good!) Considering I’m not a very skilled baker, these turned out far better then I would have ever imagined.

After we ate our pies, we capped off the night with a family game night! We have a 3, 6, and 9 year old so it can be challenging to find a fun game that all ages can enjoy. I found a game at Target called “Family Bingo” for ages 3-6+ and it was so much fun! It has varying degrees of difficulty depending on your kids ages, so we did the easiest version where you just have to identify animal faces on your bingo card. All three of our kids loved the game, so I would highly recommend if you have younger kids.

When my son went to bed later that evening, he told me that he had the best day making pies and playing games as a family! It was a reminder of how important it is to set aside these moments as a family to plan something meaningful to create memories together as a family.

Walmart Women's Fall Finds | August 2021

One of my favorite places to shop for clothes lately has been Walmart! I feel like I can always find elevated looks for an affordable price point, and I’ve been really happy with the quality of the pieces I’ve found. Over the weekend, I stopped by Walmart and found so many cute tops, and several nice pairs of jeans ranging from $15 - $24 per item.

One of my favorite outfits that I found was this green balloon sleeve top, and these very comfortable black high rise denim jeans! I shared all the links to this look along with some of my other finds from Walmart.

Walmart Free Assembly | May 2021

I recently discovered a new clothing line at Walmart called Free Assembly that I have been absolutely loving! This line has more elevated looks but still at an affordable price, like this darling white jumpsuit shown above. The linen blend fabric is great quality, and I appreciate the attention to the detail with the adjustable shoulder straps. On another note, I was excited to hear how the Free Assembly line takes special care in their fabrics, using mostly organic cotton to avoid fertilizers and pesticides. Also, how they produce the pieces in facilities that are fair trade and LEED certified to protect both the environment and the workers. This definitely makes me want to continue supporting Free Assembly and feel good about wearing the clothing.

Natural Deodorant Options (Baking Soda Free)

Shortly after I applied my Native Natural deodorant yesterday, I started to notice a burning sensation all up in my pits. I also began to notice red bumps and just overall irritation, but it felt different then razor burn. When I started searching around on Google, I found that it’s a fairly common occurrence when it comes to natural deodorant (especially for those of us with sensitive skin).

I shared my pit rash over in my IG stories (haha), and I was SHOCKED at how many people responded that they too, had experienced a rash from natural deodorants (many specifically from the Native brand). I also learned that typically baking soda is the ingredient to blame for the reaction.

I rounded up all the recommendations for natural deodorants that are BAKING SODA FREE, that were the most suggested from my IG followers. I looked up each brand to validate that they don’t have baking soda, and have high reviews.

I will share the list and links to each one below so that you can dive in to your own research on each one, and hopefully this helps you find a natural deodorant that won’t cause a rash or irritation. Recently I shared how difficult it is to find REALLY GOOD Women’s underwear that check all the boxes. Flattering fit, they don’t ride up, minimal to non-existent panty lines and comfortable. Amazon Ultimate Children's Toy Gift Guide | 2020

As a parent, you’ve probably purchased a toy for your child only to have it never played with again two days later. As you are Christmas shopping, I’m sure you are looking for items that will be enjoyed and well loved for a long time to come! So I spent time putting together a list of toys that we personally own, that have become favorite items of all three of my children.
